The Christmas Markets are back!
The biggest good news is that the Christmas at the Castle market is back and this time the OPW gave up on the misguided idea of forcing people to get (free) tickets to go to a market. So NO tickets needed, you can just go and enjoy. We haven’t seen this year’s market yet, so we don’t know if things were changed from last year, but hopefully the organisers keep improving it.
It is better than ANY market there was in Dublin before, so that is a good start and from the very first year to the second year, there were many really essential improvements. It is still a good bit away from perfect. but we are on the right way.
